My footer text in english.php looks like this:
define('FOOTER_TEXT_BODY', 'Copyright © ' . date('Y') . ' <a href="' . zen_href_link(FILENAME_DEFAULT) . '" target="_blank">' . STORE_NAME . '</a>. Designed by <a href="http://www.rtswebsitedesign.com" target="_blank">RTS Website Design</a>');
Where the heck is this "privacy notice" link coming from? Is there something that I'm supposed to switch off in the Zen Cart admin?
Did you use the Developers Tool Kit ?
Try the DTK and see if you get any results. I've never used Dreamweaver, so I don't know how its search works.
First, check using the Developers Tool Kit, as stevesh has suggested, in the bottom input box for:
privacy
and select Catalog then click search ...
Only other place that I can think of to check is the Tools ... EZ-Pages ... as that is where in a clean Zen Cart there is a link to the Privacy Page ...

If you have to think ... you haven't been zenned ...

i'm having the opposite problem...
i found the define_privacy.php and put my legal-eez there.
i've verified that my admin > configuration > define page status > define privacy status is set to 1 so the link and text will show...
but where do they show?
