Spacing out paragraphs on pages

So I am on my terms and conditions page and I am trying to space out my paragraphs, at the moment it spaces words out when I click space but not paragraphs, well it does on the main page define admin area but on the actual website online its all just in one massive parapgraph. dont understand why!

For the paragraph breaks you need to add them ...

The Plain Text is just that, plain text, and does not "hear" the paragraph breaks and you need to put them in ...

Web browsers don't recognize "whitespace." So, to make a browser recognize extra spacing you have to use either line breaks or special characters.

IE:

Space: &nbsp; <---special character to designate whitespace

Inside PHP You can use Carriage Returns: '/n/r' <--/n is a lewline /r is a "return" key to a browser.

Linebreak in HTML: <br \> Will cause a line break in the text.

So:

What version of php?

Can you give an example of what you are trying to use that is not working?
