Aberdeen Neutral Template Support Thread

Hello everyone :smile: I am happy to announce the release of my fourth free template to the zen cart community.

The Aberdeen Neutral template is a super flexible design perfect for all types of ecommerce stores--the possibities endless!

Template Features:

* Fixed width 2 column display

This may be exactly what I'm looking for. I have a few questions:

1. Can this rotational images be left at one image?
2. Can the navigation bars be square corners rather than rounded ones?
3. Can categories be present under the main graphic rather that featured products?
4. Can sideboxes be modified to have square corners?
5. Is it possible to extend the horizontal navigation bar to the full width of the screen?

Lynn--Yes, yes, yes, yes, and yes. You can modify the template in any way that you want since it is released under the gpl.

Anne,

It's really nice.

A couple of problems I ran into.

1. The right hand side has a striking blue background. How do I remove that?

2. I am using IH2 and the additional images are not showing up.

3. Unsubscribed is not in alignment.

Woohee...more issues.

I replaced the slide images and now I am getting all the text and no images.

Just curious...did you test it with IH2?

Also, it does not line up with the $ with the product.

Still working on it....

The template is designed to be a 2 column layout with let hand navigation. If you want to use the right hand column you need to add the styles for it in the stylesheet.

I am using IH2 and the additional images are not showing up.

This is not a problem with the template. The template uses the default tpl_product_info_display.php with only a horizontal rule added above the bottom buttons.

Unsubscribed is not in alignment.

The problem with the slideshow is not the template. It is caused by a bug in version g. See this thread and apply the patch:

The price is far to the left under the main image.

The template is designed so that the monthly boxes will look best with 3 items per row. If you want only 2 per row you can adjust the css.

The additional images are not showing up.

I checked product number 1 and the additional images are showing fine in just the right spot.

So far I have been able to fix everything...and YES that patch did the trick..

BUT the price is still not aligned under the image. I added 3 test products.

The template is designed to have the price floating left and the details button floating right. If you want some other alignment you have to change the stylesheet.css.

If you read the install.txt file you will see that the column layout grid is already installed. You just need to run the sql patch included in the template install.txt file.

Can you take a look at the pic I attached and if possible can you be so kind to tell me how to get rid of those black tabs?

They are right below Home | Contact| ....
They are in black lettering....Home Page Specials....

I went through your install notes again and can't find out what I did wrong.

Those are the header ezpages. I have designed the template to look best when these are turned off :smile:

Also, I turned off buy now button in admin and it's still showing up..
