USPS Shipping Module not working

I'm using version 1.3.8 (trying to update to the new version but that's another story on another thread), no addons, no customization yet as I am having to rebuild my store.

I have successfully installed the USPS shipping module and USPS has confirmed that all is correct on their end and I am in production mode with them. However, when I do a test check out on my store, no shipping options appear. This message shows up:
"We are unable to find a USPS shipping quote suitable for your mailing address and the shipping methods we typically use."

Help! I can't go live until I get this fixed.

Do you have Zones set?

What comes up for the version line when you go to the Tools ... Developers Tool Kit ... and search in the bottom input box for:
usps.php

What are your settings in the Configuration ... Shipping/Packaging ...

What is the weight of the order?

What is the Ship From?

What is the Ship To?

If you install the UPS shipping module with the default settings ... do you get quotes?

NOTE: I removed your code from display ...

However, I tested your code on my site and it fails to work ...

Check your code for the USPS Web Tools User ID and try to do a copy and paste of it into your settings in case you have a typo ...

If it still fails, call USPS one more time and ensure that it is setup for the Production Server ...

thanks for removing the ID I am going to re-register with USPS, as my URL had changed slightly and I couldn't figure out where to go to update it. Will let you know if that solves the problem. Meanwhile UPS is working fine.

Turning on UPS was just to check it wasn't a port issue ...

NOTE: You should just be able to call USPS about your existing ID without creating a new one and get it activated ...

It's working fine now. I ended up using a new ID and that resolved the issue. thanks for your help.
