Default Have pity on the newbie

I just finished installing zencart onto our site. I think, lol. I'm new to theback end of zen cart but have used it after it was complelety installed just to process orders. So I'm not sure where to start or how to check to make sure this is even right. I installed it onto http://www.sheltonssalon.com/shop
Please help me out and let me know what should be my next step. Oh and when I try to access my admin site it cannot find the page.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the post but that doesn't tell me if I have installed correctly so far as I still cannot login to the admin page.

Clicking on the link you provided displays the 'index of' page, which means there is no index.php file in that folder. When you use your FTP program to examine your files, what folder are the Zencart files in ?

They are in the zencart folder which is inside of the /shop folder so www.sheltonssalon.com/shop/zencart. Should I move everything out of the zencart folder directly into the shop folder?

In my opinion, you should move everything into the root directory (www .sheltonsalon.com).

Won't that make my store show up on the front page? I want it to be on a seperate link. (i.e. www.sheltonssalon.com/shop.html is what we have right now).

Yes, it will. If you want Zencart in a subdirectory, I think one level would be best, so you should move everything to /shop and edit the two configure.php files to reflect the change.

BTW, I'm seeing a blank page at /shop/zencart.

If that were my site, I would use Zencart as the whole site and use EZ pages for the non-store information you have on the main site now.
