Hello - I have looked around for my questions on the forum and have not found anything as of yet. (maybe I need more coffee )

I am currently uploading this to my site to play around with it. I am very happy with my current design and really dont want to change it, but I like what I am reading on the functions of the cart.

Is it possible to install the cart on a subdomain name, www.shop.mysite.com, and link the products back to the main site? If so, are there any ill effects as to doing it this way? Will customers still be able to continue shopping?
