define main page no longer rendering

I am currently working on making a template for a new zencart site. So far I have gotten things to do okay for the most part, however, I now have a problem where the information that uses html in the default_main_page.php file is no longer rendering the html and is simply non-formatted text.

I've went back over the files that I have changed but can not find anywhere that would cause such a thing to happen. Any suggestions on where to look would be greatly appreciated.

If someone also knows where to place a background image in the css for the entire center section I again would be greatful, this is my first time doing a full template for zencart so am having fun with many of the aspects.

I fixed the rendering problem, 1 little line of code can reek havic

If someone could point me in the right direction as to where I could find the proper place to assign a background image to the center content only I would be thankful

Probably by specifying a background-image in the stylesheet to .centerColumn, if you want it on all pages.

Thank you, I did find it and have that part working properly, though the elusive html not rendering on the page from the define_main_page.php is happening again, this time without the typo as before so I am at a loss as to what is causing it, all I did was go back in and added < strong > and < /strong > to what was there and clicked save through the define pages editor in the admin and it came up with the un-formatted text instead of the rendered html again.
