Single page store - multiple categories visible simultaneously - how?

Hey Zen Cart Folks!

We're setting up our Zen Cart store, and have a conundrum:

We don't have many items, so we want them all to be on a single page, viewable all at once (i.e. not with each category link leading to a different page). Yet, we don't want the items all piled together into a single stream of items. We simply want to interrupt this stream of items with a couple text or graphic titles, to visually break up the items into their categories - yet have all three categories visible on one page!

I've created a very simple mock-up of what we're trying to do. How is this possible?

I think keeping just one category, and modifying product_listing.php or tpl_modules_product_listing.php would be the easiest way to go. You can insert code in the loop to check for the first product in a group and output a line break and appropriate heading in front of it. This would start from the Column Layout Grid mod in Free Addons, to get the products in grid format instead of the stock table.
