    Default Block view Page Source

Does anyone know how you can block the "View Page Source" on a Zen Cart based store, much similar to a Joomla created site. I am looking to do this for SEO reasons, so that others cannot copy some of the things that I have done.

    Thanks in advance,
    Jeff

There are some things that can be done with javascript to obscure the page source, but this is more likely to hurt your SEO than help it ... if the search engines can't read your markup how are they going to assess it for ranking purposes.

Also, in my experience, people who want to hide their markup, are usually way over-estimating its value. We live in a world where people go out of their way to explain how to create stunning effects and profit by doing so. I very much doubt you have something worth the effort (or SEO damage) of hiding.

Thanks Kuroi. I appreciate your response and your opinion. I certainly do not want to adversely affect my SEO, so thanks again.
