How to change Order Confimation message?

Have had version 1.3.9d running very successfully for several weeks. Where can I change the message " Thanks for etc ..." after order has been accepted? See below.

Probably in this file editable from the admin

Many thanks for that, in fact after looking at that file I actually need to find the one relating to the email that the client gets rather than what shows on screen at the time. That file edits what shows on screen, where do we edit the message in the automatic email that goes to the client confirming their order?
