Default Broken image link in header

Help! I'm not a developer but love Zen-Cart and have installed the Simply Kerrin template. However, I've broken it and I can't quite find where.

My website is www.thankyounature.co.uk/shop and in Firefox it looks fine.

However, in IE (which I rarely use) there is a broken image link in the top left of the page. I've edited so many files in the last few days, that I can't remember which one it is, and how to remove the image. Could anyone help, in particular which file is the link likely to be coming from?

    Regards

    David

From looking at this, the line that is causing the problem (I think) is the following:

    <div id="logo" class="back"><a href="http://www.thankyounature.co.uk/shop/"><img src="includes/templates/simply_kerrin/images/" alt="" /></a></div>

This would be in your includes/templates/simply_kerrin/common/html_header.php

It's telling IE that you have an image and a link here, but the line:

includes/templates/simply_kerrin/images is pointing to your images folder and an imagename would need to be added to the end of it.

If you have done no other modifications, just re-upload that particular (html_header.php) file from your simply_kerrin files..

On the demo there is a Zen Cart image there, perhaps you tried to change that?

    Hope this helps :)

    Thanks for your help Stiggy100

I'm wondering if the Simply Kerrin template is slightly different; I don't have a html_header.php anywhere in my Simply Kerrin folders. Maybe it is referring to another.

The only ones I can see are:
    /includes/templates/template_default/common/
    includes/templates/zencart_zen/common

Neither of them have been edited. Is there a chance Simply Kerrin deals with it another way?

Sorry to asking what is probably a really easy question.

That may well be the case, try going to your developers toolkit in your admin>tools>developers toolkit.

Scroll down to the 'Look Up In All Files' option.

    Then search for:

    <div id="logo" class="back">

make sure you select all files from the drop down box entitled 'All Files Look-ups:'

This should show you where that line of text is located. If you don't have any luck, post back and I'll download that template and have a look for you.

    Ah thanks.

You were right - it was a Zen Cart logo that had disappeared. I found the reference in tpl_header.php

Started to fix it, by creating a logo.gif image that would be transparent, but then removed the reference and it seems fine now.

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

    DOH, my mistake,

tpl_header.php is the correct file location on all stock Zen Carts and I'd guess all approved templates, apologies for the misleading advice.

Still all is well that ends well! Good luck...
