Importing website templaye build in photoshop

Hello All,

My friend and I have built a custom template in photoshop and have sliced it and exported it with the code. What I would like to know is would this still work with zen cart like a template that is only code, I am aware that there is a huge difference. What I would like to know is there a disadvantage to using a template made in photoshop and if it is not a problem can someone please explain how I can load this into zen cart.

Zen cart isn't designed or set up to import other things into it, so I don't think you will have much luck in achieving this.

However, do not despair, as Zen is very flexible and you should be able to achieve a similar look by modifying Zen Cart.

What you could probably start by doing is setting up a zen cart site and loading the closest matching template from this site:

Try googling PSD to Zen Cart for more information - all the companies offering this service will be doing the above, basically modifying Zen Cart to match your PSD template.

Not the code but the graphics can be sliced into elements to use in the ZenCart structure

can you please explain how this can be done. I am seeing sites that charge to convert and then install you design and make it work with zen cart but I dont have the money to pay for that. I just want to know how to do it as I have already sliced it and saved the code to load in dreamweaver.

Scrap using dreamweaver as it is primarily for html pages/sites

Look through the FAQ's link above right for advice on particular elements such as
header
logo
backgrounds
etc
