I have set up my shop index page center column into three main divisions - Art, Goods and Services - which extend nicely across the screen in one row with blurb above and below, and which is flanked by the side columns.

However, I have a few miscellaneous products (donation, gift certificate, pay shipping, pay invoice, etc) that I need to put somewhere without ruining my tripartite theme.

My thought is to create a suitable category (eg oddities) that can be prevented from displaying in the center column on the index page, but whose link is tacked onto the end of the listing within the catalog side box, similar to the way featured products, new products, and specials are listed.

I suppose an "if" statement could do it, but I am struggling to work out how.
