    Default Incomplete order

    Strange one this morning - I got a Paypal email as usual telling me I have new funds from a sale, but there is no delivery address. There was no email from my site telling me about the sale but there always is normally, and when I logged in to my admin the new customer details are logged OK but not the order. First time this has happened so I would appreciate any hints as to what may be wrong.

    You're probably using PayPal Website Payments Standard, which has quirks where sometimes unexpected things happen.
    To bypass those quirks, use the more reliable and contemporary Express Checkout module instead:

    Click "Remove" on "PayPal Website Payments Standard", and click "Install" on "PayPal Express Checkout", and configure it as per the instructions: www.zen-cart.com/getpaypal

    Very strange. It happened to me as well today. I've used PayPal Website Payments Standard (IPN) without a single issue for two years.

    How do I determine what was ordered?

    ah... her order was never finalized. I used the Log In As Customer add-on and completed her order as a check payment. I now have an order invoice to work with. Even tho I had to send her an email explaining the mishap.

    This is very similar to what I reported in this thread http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166294. In my case I got an error e-mail from ZC. The payment was received and no order was logged in ZC even though the customer record was created. You didn't indicate what payment module was used on this transaction. Perhapds some weirdness going on with PP?

    Yes it's Website Payments Standard I'm using. No problems since but if it happens again I'll change to Express. Weird!
