Totally stumped with shipping set up!

Please could someone advise me on how to set up shipping as follows:

(Store is based in the UK)

Shipping within the UK is free. (regardless of weight, no of items, etc).

Shipping to the EU is 6 GBP.

Sorry - I'm sure it must be simple, but I'm struggling. I've looked at the tutorials etc, but all the options seem much more complicated than this and I'm getting lost.

I also have 2 categories that can only be shipped within the UK. Is it possible to set something up for these?

If you are in the UK, then you could set the Free Shipping on the Modules ... Order Total ... Shipping ot_shipping and set the Free shipping to be enabled and set to 0.00 ... and set to National ...

Then, for EU, create a Zone Definition for the countries you want to ship to ...

Then, go to Modules ... Shipping ... and install the Flat Rate flat shipping module and add the Zone Definition that you created for Europe to the Zone ...

Now only the UK and the countries in your Zone Definition can check out ...
