    red flag SSL not working

Ok, so here is the issue which I never ran into with 1.3.7 and 1.3.8

I just installed 1.3.9 on my server (a Debian Linux), same server I have multiple zencart carts on (1.3.7 and 1.3.8 installs).

I just purchased my SSL certificate, and installed it to my server, but when cart pages are accessed it says in Firefox and IE that the site is not secure.

I have checked and double checked the config settings in both the includes folder, and the admin/includes configuration settings, both are set to use an encrypted connection and set to true.

I am pretty positive this has to do with zen cart, because I just posted a straight HTML page to the site as a test, and the page shows secure.

The cart is installed in the root directory at:
    https://www.woodpenco.com

The test page I just posted is at:
    https://www.woodpenco.com/justATest.html

Pretty sure this is not related to my hosting provider, I have never had issues before with the previous installs with my other Zencart ecommerce sites.

Anyone else running into a SSL issue? Any help would be appreciated because I have a show coming up, and really don't want to have to install 1.3.8 after all the work I have done on this site.

    Thanks all

That URL doesn't seem to work for http or https.

ok that is weird. The site pulls up fine for me using a absolute url. I have had a couple other people say that they had an issue pulling up the site using the full url. But if you just put in woodpenco.com in the address bar it comes up, and the address bar displays the full url.but a couple people have said they have had an issue with entering the absolute url in the browser.

try just putting woodpenco.com in the address bar, I am going to check my DNS settings.

Ok I think I found what was messing everything up, just need someone to verify. I usually do my google verification using meta tags, but this time I used the DNS record verification.

I think that was why there was issues navigating to the site as well.

I just took out the Google DNS info from my record, so the absolute urls above should work now. I am thinking that is what was screwing up my SSL as well.

Nope wasn't the google DNS issue in regards to the SSL problem. That seems to have fixed the navigating to the URL issue, but the SSL is still saying insecure.

But the SSL still shows properly on the test HTML page I created outside of the cart. So the SSL is installed properly.

Just wanted to post an update. The SSL issue is not with Zencart, it is in the template somewhere. I changed the cart over to the default template and the site turned secure.

Figured it was kind of weird, because I have never had an SSL issue with Zen in the past, and I know that with the latest build there was more security added so it just didnt make sense.

Now I just have to go through all the template files and find where it is referencing remote content.
