Idea or Suggestion Secpay module - does it exist?

Reading the forums I found posts refering to the SecPay module. Referancing that technical support provide a module for Zen Cart. They on the other hand say ask Zen Cart for a module.

From this I am assuming that there is not a Sec Pay Module for Zen Cart.

How easy is it to build such a module. Ive obviously got a guide with the parameters from SecPay. Is there such a guide on the Zen side to build modules?

Has anyone built a module that they would like to share?

Ive been playing around with Zen for about 6 months now, Ive got the merchant account, got the payment gateway and I have finally got the time to build my site here on a beach in Thailand. The only thing I can think of doing is using oscommerce or cubecart which integrate with zen but I haven't even used them.
Anyone know what I should do?

    Thanks

    Thx

    No Luck unfortunately.

SecPay advertise on their website that they integrate with ZenCart.

Unfortunately they do not! They may have done in the past. But currently you can integrate SecPay using their intregration guide. It looks quite involved! I have not enough experience to risk buying SecPays service only to find that it takes me weeks to integrate.

As Such I am going with Protx. They looked out of my budget at first, but they are doing some a £150 for a year offer. So im going to go with that!

Stuff giving SecPay my hard earned cash!

Having checked the links available the module does not seem to be downloadable from that site - is there anyone who can pm it or a link to it to me? I've spoken to SecPay who confirmed that it does exist but that it was a third party one, and they don't think they have a copy of it at the moment.

I gave up and used protx direct. Seems competative, and there is a module for it, very easy to install.

    Hi focus360,

Our usual shopping cart solution (webshop565) integrates with both secpay and protx, so we've got a good relationship with both companies. As we couldn't find a SecPay module available (and in the required timescales) we've written one to integrate with SECPage. If we have agreement from the client we may release it as a payment module either supported and with a fee or unsupported witout a fee - will update here as we make the decision.

Hope this helps someone else in future!

Default Session Expired Problem with SecPay

I have been asked to look into a problem in an already configured ZenCart shop linked to the SecPay Payment Gateway.

The shop uses non SSL form based checkout (not the best idea I know), the shop connects to Secpay fine, the order is processed by Secpay and the customer receives an email OK.

However when Secpay calls back to the store the shopper gets a Session Expired message from the system.

I am new to ZenCart so I had a look around the internet and could only find this problem happening with a mix of SSL and non SSL domains.

I presume the session is getting lost somehow, I tried storing sessions in file (and saw them created ok) instead of the DB, I also tried setting Recreate Session to false.

    Session Settings
    -------------------
    Session Directory /home/users/xxx/html/xxx.co.uk/store/cache
    Cookie Domain True
    Force Cookie Use False
    Check SSL Session ID False
    Check User Agent False
    Check IP Address False
    Prevent Spider Sessions True
    Recreate Session True
    IP to Host Conversion Status

    Zencart: Version 1.3.5

Apologies if I am missing something obvious but its never great when someone else sets something up and then can't be contacted!

Any help anyone can give would be much appreciated!

    Default Secpay session lost

    Hi,
we use Secpay (Paypoint) on www.stampdesigner.co.uk. The site is currently on a Fedora 8 install with UK2 and everything appears to work fine but when we moved it to a Centos 5.4 x64 with UKFast I get a "Whoops your session expired" message and the transaction is not completed at the Zen end.

    Here's what I've done so far;
the current site is on a Fedora 8 install. www.stampdesigner.co.uk
I moved the site to a Centos 5.4 x64 install and the session failed.
I then tried a test server in the office here with Centos5.4 on it and got the same problem
Then I tried it on a Fedora 9 install (the closest to 8 I could get on a root server (hetzner root server)). The same problem.
I have mirrored the site on the same Fedora 8 server (www.bevins.me.uk/index.php), changed all the file paths etc as I did with the others and it works fine.

This leads me to think that the distro is at fault here. anyone got any ideas what could be going on?

I have checked all the session settings by comparing the server's phpinfo's. the working server is using php 5.2.10 and Fedora 9 (not working) is 5.2.5

this is driving me nuts. Anyone got any suggestions?

    thanks in advance.

    Graham.
