custom 404 error when changing the admin name

Hi, I have changed the name of my admin folder but when i try to access it I get the standard Zen Cart custom 404 page not found error.

I have changed the admin folder name and the three entries that need changing in the Admin>Includes>configure.php

All are the same and correct.

for example, i changed

www.example.com/admin1 (worked)
to
www.example.com/admin2 (404 error)

I know my name changes are correct because if I go to
www.example.com/admin2/login.phpI can then log in and use the admin OK

I have dumped all cacche and clreaned the DNS on my PC, I have tried accessing on another PC and the same happens.

Is this normal? I thought it best to ask.
(using on 1.3.9g)
