I have a new install of 1.3.9g and want to upgrade the database to the new system.

It is not showing the upgrade button. After I have put a new folder with the 1.3.9g info and went through the install process after resetting the configure files. I did a new database and imported the data from the old system. I am not doing this on the live site.

I have done this before with eariler versions and the upgrade button always came up but it will only let me install not upgrade. I am upgrading from 1.3.8a to 1.3.9g

What Am I doing wrong. I have read all the other threads and comments on this and am still not getting it.

There was one about dropping the tables. Wouldn't that drop the data?
