welcome email...where is it?

can someone please remind me what the path is to locate my welcome letter in my FTP that new customers receive? i have edited it before, but for the life of me, i can't find it now

do you mean: public_html/email? if so, there are no php files to edit there, only html.

last time i edited my welcome email, it was a php file. am i looking in the wrong place?

Those are the only email templates that I am aware of....

No php ones

I think this is what you are looking for:

\includes\languages\english\create_account.php

You may have previously made a copy of the file and edited the copy in a template override at:
\includes\languages\english\YOUR_TEMPLATE\create_account.php
