Need Advice for Massive Shipping Module

Ok, so I need a shipping module that is essentially all that and a bag of chips. I sell tons of drop ship items at my site www.RedlineStands.com Some items are simple and drop ship via UPS and FedEx Ground, while others are small items that can fit into a small flat rate box with the USPS. On the other hand I also sell a lot of huge items like car lifts, motorcycle lifts, and motorcycle trailers, all of which ship via freight, each with a different shipping company. Some of these freight shippers for me use a freight table so that states TN, AL, MS, FL ship for x dollars and so on. Other companies that ship freight items for me quote each shipment through their modules. So, I find myself needing a means of collecting shipping money on my site that can allow me to tell Zencart if a particular product will ship Ground or Freight, and if freight, whether by table or custom quote. Plus, I need to be able to input the zip code from where the item ships. Right now I'm doing all my shipping cost computations on my site by a table method that computes by weight. The problem is that I'm getting too many emails of people saying that they added several large items to my cart and got a $500 shipping fee, when in fact all their items could have shipped on a pallet for $150 or so. I know this is a huge problem. Does anyone have any ideas how to solve it?
