How to bypass categories page?

When the categories are clicked, instead of showing category page (includes subcategory images) I would like see subcategory page. How can I bypass the category page.

How do you expect the code to know which subcategory to display when you select the top cat?

The first one come up subcategories when they sorted.

If you wanted the main column to show a category's first subcat instead of the list of all the category's subcats, you would have to write custom code for that. How is it useful to not show all of the subcats in a category?

How can I change the link for the categories when it is clicked? Maybe I can call the one subcategory. Thanks.

Do you want this for just one particular category, or for all categories?

Your Template Monster template has modified the tpl_categories.php file that prepares the categories box output, and I don't know what it looks like to begin to modify it for your purpose.

Making this automatic to work for all current or new categories would require some major recoding, spanning a couple of files, and is beyond the scope of a forum post.
