no Category Description switch in Admin?

Does the Zen Cart still not have a master switch in Admin for turning on/off the Category Descriptions?

I'm not talking about any sort of customizing here -- just a simple switch for turning off Category Description on the Category product listing page.

So far the only solutions I've seen are to remove the description text by editing the Category properties for each of the Categories (not a good solution if you have a lot of categories or a lot of text content to keep track of) or to remove (or comment out?) the actual code in the template that causes the Cat Desc to be displayed.
