    Default Performance question

I have a question, just out of curiousity..

How many customer and product records can Zen Cart handle?

I know thats a broad question, and lot of performance issues would be related to the server you're hosted on, but im curious to know if there is a noticeable drop in performance when approaching a certain amount of records in the db..

I suppose it also would come down to how many people are hitting the site at the same time too..

I remember talking to some programmers once, and they told me that mySql databases can handle about 1 million records before they 'start to fall over' - really?
Donation made. Enjoy those donuts! :-)

    You covered it....

Need more - - - there are server class alternatives
    Throw more "horsepower" at it

I have seen shope with 100,000 + products on a fairly standarad(hardware wise) web server function very fast
