    Default Help with blank screen problems

    Hello everyone.

    I tried upgrading my zen install from 1.3.9f to 1.3.9h but something went wrong and i lost all my new customers from the admin screen (the dates were there but the names weren't).

    So i deceided that I'd tried to do a roll back by putting the whole of 1.3.9g onto my server. This has helped but now I can't EDIT any orders.

    When I click on orders in my admin and click on edit it comes up with a blank screen. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

    It worked in 1.3.9f.

    Any help would be appriciated.

    Hello, I am getting a blank screen on my Admin page also after upgrading from 1.3.9d to 1.3.9h this morning. The store front site seems fine. But for me, the Admin login page is entirely blank. It was working fine from 1.3.9d. No addons since 1.3.9d.

    When I checked the Debug log, it shows this:
    [04-Nov-2010 11:42:21] PHP Warning: main(includes/init_includes/init_sanitize.php) [<a href='function.main'>function.main</a>]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/x/x/x/xxxxxx/html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 48
    [04-Nov-2010 11:42:21] PHP Fatal error: main() [<a href='function.require'>function.require</a>]: Failed opening required 'includes/init_includes/init_sanitize.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/x/x/x/xxxxxxx/html/includes/autoload_func.php on line 48

    Apparently, something wrong happened when it tried to import init_sanitize.php for the Admin, but not so with the regular store front.

    When I check the HTML source of the blank Admin screen, it gave me this:
    <!DOCTYPE ...etc...>
    <HTML><HEAD>
    <META http-equiv=Content-Type ...etc...></HEAD>
    <BODY></BODY></HTML>


    I tried the 2 suggestions (b/c of GoDaddy PHP 4) but they seem of no help. Otherwise I'll revert back to my backup 1.3.9d version.

    That log is telling you that your /admin/includes/init_sanitize.php file is missing.
    You need to upload it with your FTP program.

    Correction: Actually, it means that you've not properly updated your /admin/includes/auto_loader/config.core.php file for 1.3.9h.

    Thanks Dr. Byte, that works. I can't believe how simple that fix was. I thought I read somewhere that I no longer needed a "init_sanitize.php" within the admin, which is why I did not think of it. Thanks again.

    Correct, you don't need it ... as long as you properly update the config.core file mentioned above.
