Please clarify 1.39h php version issue

Hi,

I've just upgraded my testing site from 1.39g to 1.39h. My testing site uses php 5.2.14.

I am NOT seeing the issues described by Dr Byte regarding customer names on home page and product titles, etc in the product editor.

In fact, everything looks just fine and I was about to upgrade my production site when I saw the notice here.

My production site runs php 5.2.13 so I'm worried that the issue will appear on the production site if I upgrade.

Can someone clarify if this issue is supposed to affect all php versions under 5.2.3 or just some versions.

Also, would there be any way to check if this issue will occur on my production site without actually upgrading.

Many thanks,

Ed

5.2.3 is less than 5.2.13.
ie: 3 is less than 13

And, since the issue affects only less than "3", your "13" site should be fine.

Oh yeah, I should know that.

Thanks,

No worries. You're not alone.
Others have had the same question. I've added a note to the bugfix post to help clarify.
