Adding products without categories?

I know this may sound silly... but I need to know if there is anyway I can just skip to entering products without categories... and after I've entered the products, categorize them later when attributes and all?

Please let me know if it works, and if so How?

No, if you create products before creating any categories, you will not be able to create categories later. This will also cause various odd search and display problems in certain circumstances.

If you don't know your final category structure yet, just make a Holder category to put the products in for now. You can always move products to different categories later.
