    Default Internet Bank Transfer payments

Internet Bank Transfers are a very popular payment method in the UK. Is there a payment module that will give this option in ZC?

I take it that all you want to do is create a payment option, that when selected, provides the customer with your bank account details (Sort Code, Account Number, Bank Name, Account Name).

It would therefore be similar to the CHECK/MONEYORDER module in that it simply needs to allow checkout to proceed and finalise, and when completed (checkout success), the relevant information about your bank is shown to the customer - perhaps with an instruction to quote their zencart order number when they go into their internet bank to make the online payment.

Am I on the right track?

If so, making a CLONE of the Check/Moneyorder module is the route to go.

I did this some years ago and created the Account Holders payment module, which is available in the downloads section.

This sounds like you are on the right track. Does your module do what I want or is it an example of cloning and modifying a payment module?

There is a mod called Direct Bank Deposit. Essentially it does what schoolboy suggested. It is available for US and Australian bank transfers but could easily be modified for UK conditions by changing a few of the defines.

I have used it successfully on a couple of my stores.

Thanks for this and for schoolboy's advice. I had just found and modified the Direct bank deposit module for the UK banks.
