Orders not showing up in Admin

My orders are not showing up in the admin Orders page. They post to the database just fine, and are showing on the homepage, just not the orders page.

Just using the check/money order payment module to test. I re-uploaded the orders.php from original 1.3.8a installation, and still no fix. Please help!

Have you mistakenly deleted all the Order Status entries from Admin->Localization->Order Status ?
Have you turned off any of the Order Total modules in Admin->Modules->Order Totals ?
Have you edited the Check/Moneyorder module settings and set an invalid Order Status value in it?

In the database, what is the orders_status value for those orders that aren't showing?
Are there corresponding entries for those orders_status values in the orders_status_history table? If not, then either you've turn off the ability to set valid order status history records by disabling the order status modules, or you've got wrong settings on your payment module such that it's setting completed orders to an invalid status number.

DrByte, you're a genius!! Looks like my client inadvertently deleted the Order Status options. As soon as I added them back, voila! the orders are there. Thanks a million!
