Default Customer Login Problem with IE?

    Hi

I wonder if anyone else has had this, or knows an answer.

I have had a couple of independant customers lately that cannot log in. These were both ongoing customers, so the logins have worked in the recent past.

Both got the message that there is no match for e-mail or password.

Both then tried the forgotten password link, were sent a new password, and still couldn't get in.

I know that the first one certainly did everything right, and was using the latest version on Internet Explorer. Tried a number of times with no success. He then used FireFox, and it worked fine.

I haven't fully discussed with the other person yet - I am trying to get him on the phone to help resolve the issue.

Anyone have a similar issue with IE?

    Thanks

    Paul

Idea or Suggestion Re: Customer Login Problem with IE?

We're having the same problem - unbelievably frustrating. We're losing a lot of sales due to this.

Originally we thought the logon problem was only with our previous customers (previous to the upgrade) but even though our former developer told us the problem was with our original database, we've seen this happen wth new customers too. We never had this problem on our old 1.3.8

Interestingly, when the site was first launched with 1.3.9, we had a number of customers that were setting up duplicate accounts (yes, two accounts with the same email addresses.

We've tried multiple configuration options in the FEC / COWOA but haven't confirmed a fix.

    Zen 1.3.9d
    Recently upgraded from 1.3.8
    Mods:
    Super Orders
    Better Together
    Recover Cart
    Fast and Easy Checkout

Any help is greatly appreciated! We've lost a lot of sales due to this problem. Thanks Zenners

We are experiencing the same problem. Customers are unable to logon to their accounts. We are losing sales because of this as well.
when they hit the button to have their passwords sent to them, they get no response. This is very frustrating.

Does anyone have a clue as to what is happening?
