The sliding images seem to flicker, is this right?

I don't see this.

Can i reduce the number of images on home page, at the moment it puts 3 across can I reduce this to 2?

You can customize the template in any way that you like.

What size images should I upload, I think mine or too big.

If you can be more specific about what images you are talking about I can try to help you.

Also how did you get the pictures on your home page that link? Like here I'd like to do the same and lose the "new products for june" ?

I believe that you are referring to the category images. Turn this on in configuration --layout settings.

Turn off the new products on the home page in configuration -- index listing.

This is because you are not following correct zen cart naming conventions when naming your images. See the tutorial here in the faq's section.

Hi, I'm new to Zen Cart after being a cubecarter for eeons, but with their recent changes and support ending for version 3.0.20 have cut my losses and look onto bigger and better things = welcome to zencart :-D

I have a couple of small questions that I am hoping someone can answer for me as I have searched and no one else has asked... which makes me feel really stoopid because everyone else has probably figured it out LOL (and I haven't!!)...

Problem 1:

Below the logo.jpg image at the top, is the text "Free Template by www.picaflor-azul.com" ... where in the world do I change that?

Also, I did search the forum and found instructions on where to change within the meta_tags.php file ""Zen Cart! The Art of E-commerce"... however.. making those changes, saving and uploading the file I am still seeing the message in the browser header. Is there a different set of instructions for this particular theme to get that message to disappear?

I'm still getting my head around a completely different store and how it all fits together and what files I need to edit ... otherwise... Zen Cart so far has some great features that I had to otherwise pay for as extra mods with CubeCart!

Also, my version of ZenCart is 1.3.9h and it's a standard install with no modifications other than the installation of this template.

On a side note - I am using DreamWeaver MX is it ok to edit my files as I have read along my travels that Zen Cart is particular to some other programs???

You are probably not editing the override file in includes/languages/english/alysa_rounded/meta_tags.php

Hi Anne,
Thanks for the reply. I was up till 3am figuring this all out and READING ALOT! So have it all sorted now... some of the instructions within the Tutorial/FAQ section are great to understand if you know what relates to what, that as a newbie one doesn't but reading is the key... :-D

I have one question... where within the stylesheet would I edit code to have a border surrounding the cart. That is a border on the top,left,right,bottom to make it look like it's sitting in a frame as apposed to just the white? Hope that makes sense...?
