red flag Website and Admin Area Not working

    I was using 1.3.9f.

I wanted to set-up my SSL so my website would be secure. I uploaded the .htcaccess file and change the 2 configure files that needed to be changed. After I did that, it still did not work so I reversed what I did. After reversing what I did the admin page was not working but the website was. I spent most of the day yesterday trying to figure out what was going on but I did not figure it out. (I'm not a web developer)

This morning I decided maybe all I need to do is re-uplaod the same version of zen cart and it would be back up and running. WRONG!!! it completly removed everything. My website and the admin site inclding my products and and customers.

I have no idea what to do now. My wife is ripping me a new one and I dont blame her. I ****** up.

My hosting company (1and1) is getting me a backup of my database.

Please help me. I'm not a developer so i need major help.

If your host has a DB backup, you'll be OK there. You may need to re-do whatever you had done template-wise, unless they have a backup of your files, too.

When i get the back-up files, what do I do after that?

My website is www . internationa lentertainment store . com. I have a message up for the moment.

The index.php of my site has the Welcome ZenCart message.

The most important thing for me is the customers database and the prodcts database.

I have a similar problem, I used an external company to change my template (as I too am not a web developer), they e-mailed to say they couldn't get into my admin page and now I can't either. All they have done so far is download the template onto the server. It just comes up page not found!! The guy who hosts my site is away for 2 weeks so I am stuck... Any help would be great.
