    Default Remove padding from boxes

I am adjusting my zen cart template to my needs. I am trying to get the boxes aligned with the edge of the body border, but I can't find them in the CSS. There is a boxes.css, but it is all for the contents inside the boxes.

Also it seems that the main content is left aligned. I would like to make the products center aligned and the contact us, privacy policy, etc, left aligned. How would I do that. Thanks.

Since there isn't a boxes.css in a stock Zencart installation, you're using a custom template, so we'll need a link to the site to help.

I'm going to offer two suggestions.

The way you have that old Template Monster template configured, you could easily make a clone of the Classic template look just the same and avoid all the baggage that comes with TM's offerings.

If you plan to continue using this or other Template Monster templates (or if you don't, I guess), here's the best advice I can offer:

Install the Firefox browser and the Web Developer plugin for Firefox. You can use those to see where in the stylesheet you change the styling of the various page elements.

Ctrl-Shift-Y will allow you to hover over a section of the page and see the class and id names for that section in the box at the top. The statements in the stylesheet that begin with # are id's and the ones that begin with dots are classes.

Ctrl-Shift-E will open the CSS editor and allow you to edit the stylesheet and see the changes in real time without changing anything permanently. An essential tool.

Some prefer Firebug, which does much the same thing.

Ok, I modified the classic template. The Southern Mart logo in the top left corner, I need to move so it is in the vertically centered.

It was easier to modify the classic template than to mess with the template monster template. Thanks

I fixed everything in the last post. But I am having trouble getting the category links to look like the information links.
