Default Product Listing Variables. Change = No Effect?

I'm using the latest version of Zen. In the product listing variables, there are no definitions in the edits and no matter what I put in there, it doesn't change anything. For instance, I do not want the weight to show in the product listing. I don't mind if a weight shows in the cart. Here's the way they are set now:

    Display Product Image 1
    Display Product Manufacturer Name 0
    Display Product Model 0
    Display Product Name 2
Display Product Price/Add to Cart 3
    Display Product Quantity 0
    Display Product Weight 0

Sorry for the delayed reply. Inbox volume was turned down. I've been working in the store. Also, how do I take it offline until I am finished?

That's the point. I CAN'T turn them off. No matter what value I choose in the product listing, it still shows the weight under the product. PLUS, there are no definitions listed in the edit sidebar.

click on one of the products and then scroll down

I do not want the weight to show in the product listing.
Well that would be the product info page not the product listing page
You are trying to set items for the product info page in the product listing settings

    For the product info page
admin > catalog > product types > general > at the right select edit layout > make your settings

Thanks Kobra. Had a similar problem except that I wanted the qty not to show. Was causing miscommunication with my customers as I don't actually maintain an inventory, lol. Your suggestion worked great. Keep up the good work.
