    Default Site has completely disappeared

    Hello,

My site has completely disappeared. It was working fine, then a couple of hours ago I tried to upload an image to includes/templates/MY TEMPLATE/images using FileZilla -- something I've done countless times -- and presto, my site disappeared. I'm using Zen Cart version 1.3.8a and this is the URL http://biz75.inmotionhosting.com/~moonst5/Catalogue/

I've searched the forum and most posts regarding this problem don't apply to my situation, except perhaps the one that suggests reloading ALL my files. I've been working on my site for months, though, and was finally ready to go public, so I'm afraid to touch anything else for fear of making the problem worse.

I just can't figure out what went wrong and would appreciate any help.

    Thanks!

Check the error logs within your Hosting account for any leads to the problem. Also, if you FTP into your account and you can see your files / dir's, then you done something to one of your files. Also check your 'images' dir. to make sure no files ending in ".php" are in there.

Thanks for your suggestion, Rob, I found the problem!

I retraced my steps on FileZilla -- thankfully, I hadn't closed it -- and this is what I found:

    Renaming '/public_html/Catalogue/includes/templates/template_default' to '/public_html/Catalogue/includes/templates/classic/template_default'
    Command: RNFR template_default
Response: 350 RNFR accepted - file exists, ready for destination
    Command: RNTO /public_html/Catalogue/includes/templates/classic/template_default
Response: 250 File successfully renamed or moved

Somehow FileZilla moved the template_default file from the templates folder to the templates/classic folder.

I swear I didn't initiate this... still don't know how it happened, but once I moved the template_default file back into the templates folder, all was well. My site is back!

    Thanks again

Good to hear things got sorted out.

It's easy to click a wrong button and not realize it.
