Yes and mos well constructed modules have folders named "my_template" that you must rename to your template nameShould my mods be placed in an override folder as well?
Remember the RULE??Also, do I do the overrides system for any and all changes that I have made to core files? i.e. email, classes, defines, etc?
/classes has no "classic" folder - - most do not touch those files but if you do I suggest you adopt placing some word or phrase in the commented head of the file
I enter *kobra
That way, when an upgrade is in order these files that can not be overridden can all be located using the dev tool kit and searching for "kobra" & now I have a list of the files I have touched in addition to those that are in overrides folders
I would not - - The complete default files set is only about 20K so there is little economy in this areaThese would be files that I would never have the use for.
In an effort to keep my files under control size wise, can I remove these files or will they impact my site?
