    Default Email setting for receiving the order ?

    How does this work ?

    Do I need to send a copy of the customers confirmation order to myself so that I know I have a order ?

    Seems like there should be a notification to myself that an order is placed but if I turn off send a copy of the confirmation order I get nothing.

    In other words, does my zen cart just send one email out when a customer places an order to the customer

    or

    one email to the customer and one to me ?

    If there is another email sent to me at the time of order....where do I set that address ?

    You need to turn this back on if you want Zencart to send you an email as well as the customer.

    I am the owner of the store yet I get a "copy" of the order confirmaton to the customer which was where my stubborn mind block was not letting me proceed.

    So to proceed further, can I modify the order confirmation email "copy" to my company or will that also change the order confirmation to the customer ?

    Again, just seems like two emails need to be sent....one to the customer stating the confirmation....and one the the store owner..."Hey, You Have A Order !!!"

    Ok,

    Lets assume I have someone receiving emails (hundreds) and starts reading thru them and they see:

    Order Confirmation from (Our Company)

    Jane Doe

    Thanks for shopping with us today!
    The following are the details of your order.
    ------------------------------------------------------
    Order Number: 33
    Date Ordered: Saturday 13 November, 2010
    Detailed Invoice:

    Seems like they could skip right thru it and not know that your company needs to act on this copy of a order confirmation.

    Two emails need to be sent. (1) to the customer...(1) to my company.....not a copy of the confirmation cause it IS confusing.
