Ashley Pink Template Support Thread

Hi could some kind peson point me in the right direct on how to modify the following ===

1. change how featured & new products are displayed ie when you click link in left column I want them to display in the same way as main product display not like this
   but like this
2. How to stop it displaying Max 1
3. How to limit the number of "new products" I would like to to display say max last 7 items added

None of these are specifically related to support for this template.. they are all general Zen Cart setup questions..

Re item 1:
There is a add-on which covers items #1. Can remember what it's a called.. something like single layout or something like that.. (search the forum for the support thread for this one)

Re items 2 & 3:
People often overlook the Zen Cart FAQs.. MUCH of what you are asking about really is covered in the FAQs.. (see link at the top of the forum..)

Thanks for the awesome layout, I just have a few issues which have already been outlined, but i need clarification

I would like to delete all the links plus the twitter and facebook buttons off the footer. I have looked in all the FAQs and I have tried to do what you suggested previously on this thread, but nothing is working - I would just like the footer to be pink with no links or anything (quick links, info etc)

Ive also had a look here https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php and tried finding out how to remove everything from the footer to no avail.

Ive also played around and deleted things, saw that it didnt work so readded them, I have no experience with this sort of thing :)

Hi! The mod that I used for the footer menu is called Footer Menu. I would recommend downloading the mod from the free downloads section and then removing all of the files used in the mod from the template package.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me or has experienced not being able to upload the configure.php file for the Ashley Pink template?

I was able to upload everything in the includes folder to the server via FTP but the configure.php file kept failing. Even when I manually just select that file, it still won't take it.

Any insight will be appreciated. Thanks!

My bad - File mixup during extraction and saving location. I dumped everything, start a fresh extraction and realized it was not part of it. I wasn't able to upload due to permission settings on the configure file - completely separate issue.

Hi Anne, I sorted one thing then ran right into another problem. Can't seem to figure out why any of my categories and all the template pages under Information are showing up on the left side?? I checked all my settings but couldn't find a solution. I checked all the help sections but could find an answer for missing categories. Can you help? thanks.
