How do I change "Page 1", "Page 2" etc titles in here to something more meaningful?

OK I've done this but am using a new template so have tried changing in the includes/languages/ENGLISH folder and the includes/languages/ENGLISH/mytemplate folder but neither change has changed the titles on my site. Any other ideas appreciated.
