I changed My Currency and now order totals are zero

Hi, by default, my cart was setup in AUS currency so when a customer checked out via paypal the order showed in AUS currency. I went into admin - localization - currency - and added "Canadian Dollar" as default and set that to $1.0000000

I did a test purchase and when i get to the paypal page to pay it shows order total of $0.00?

Obviously I screwed up somewhere...anyone have an idea of where I went wrong?

I looked at it again and I get this message.

"Set as default (requires a manual update of currency values)"

Anyone know where I do this?

I wanted to post my experience in the hopes that someone else doesn't go through this. I couldn't figure out why after checkout and proceeding to paypal, my total amount still figured to be $0.00.....i followed all the steps in the tutorial above but nothing would solve the problem.

So i attempted one more time, this time looking in my payment module. After selecting paypal, i noticed it was pointing to only accept payments in AUD, and my store was in CAD

Such a simple thing i overlooked....I set this to CAD and now all is right with the world.!

Not sure how you set your store to AUD by default, since out-of-the-box it comes as USD


An aside: If you haven't already, you should be using Express Checkout instead of Website Payments Standard. It's much more reliable and a more consistent experience for your customers.
