Tax not showing tin the admin gross prices

I DID IT!!!!!

Just got some tweeking to do -

IN the admin>cataloge>new products>
The gross price does not reflect my tax.

I have taxable goods defined and the currency module -

I am at a loss because in the past when product was keyed in the taxable goods selected from the dropdown the gross showed the tax.

The tax does show up on the customers cart but I would like to track this down.

Suggestions???TIA

What's "the currency module" refer to?


What tax class do you have set when it's allegedly not showing the taxed amount?
What tax classes do you have defined?
What tax rates are defined for each of those tax classes?

(None of these tax things have changed much in the upgrade to 139, so if you've upgraded your database properly they shouldn't be having any problems, and should be showing the same as in your old site.)

US Dolar is the only one and it is the default- I read that in another thread that it might be important.

I have only one tax class and that is taxable goods

none and just the one --taxable goods

Only 1 and that is taxable goods and it is sales tax for the state of Iowa - I checked these and they seem ok

Also I noticed that there was no decimal places so I was looking at the admin>configuration>my store and checked on the decimal for tax and set it to 2, Dont understand if that did since it did not change anything.

ok I think there are gremmlins messing with my site - it just adjusted it self and started to show the tax - Go figure! TIA
