Setting up shipping charges for different countries

Hi there, using v1.3.9h

I have setup default flat rate shipping charges for my country, but would like to setup a different default flat rate charge for another country. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

You could clone the Flat Rate flat shipping module ... and make as many as up need such as:
flat.php to flatus.php
flat to flatus
FLAT to FLATUS

flat.php to flatcad.php
flat to flatcad
FLAT to FLATCAD

flat.php to flatuk.php
flat to flatuk
FLAT to FLATUK

And then just a a Zone Definition to each one ...


Or, you could use the Zone Rate zones shipping module and say you wanted a Flat Rate of $10.00 for the US and a Flat Rate of $15.00 for Canada and a Flat Rate of $20 for the United Kingdom ...

Zone 1
US
10000.00:10.00

Zone 2
CA
10000.00:15.00

Zone 3
GB
10000.00:20.00


This appears easier ... but for countries not otherwise defined you would need to list them all in the Skip Countries ... or, you will see this message, which may work for you:
Zone Rates (No shipping available to the selected country)
