    Default Apache server.

    Hi,
    Im trying to teach myself something about ecommerce
    My cheapy hosting package does not support MySQL.
    Can I use my own Apache/MySQL which is installed on my
    computer just to practise on?
    Im using v1.3.9h
    Thanks for any constructive suggestions / tips.

    Do you have PHP installed on your pc, as well? It's a must, also.

    Most people that wants to install Zen-Cart on a local server installs WAMPP or XAMPP, both of which has all the necessary requirements for Zen-Cart.
    Teach them to shop and they will shop today;
    Teach them to Zen and they will OWN a shop tomorrow!
