Here's some weird stuff.. when I change the Image Size of new products, also the image size of featured products is changed..

Sounds like a bad addon?
Which exact settings did you change?
Which exact page or sidebox/centerbox is not doing what you expected?

Hi again..,
I changed --> Admin --> Configuration --> Images --> Image - New Products Width (to 150px) and Image - New Products Height (to 120px). This had the side effect of changing the image size of 'Featured Products' to the same dimensions.
The change takes place on the main page (first page that load) where I display the 'featured products'.
I have installed the 'all business template' but as you know it doesn't contain any .sql installations..
