securecode / visa verified logo spacing

On the payments page directly under the field for customers to edit there credit card number, there are the 2 logos for verified by visa and mastercard securecode. This section was making my payments page very messy and I have now successfully been able to change the logo's for better quality logo's and have also managed to change the explanatory text underneath from blue to white as well as removing the bold command to make the text standard. Everything is still fully functional and the pop ups still work great however I now simply want to add a double line break between the top of the two logo's and the bottom of the field for customers to enter there credit card numbers, since it is butted as closely as possible. This is not a problem but I have been skimming through my store recently trying to tidy up a few things that have been bothering me and this is one that a few customers have accidentally been clicking whilst entering cc numbers. I was told that I could do this in the same file where a changed the text however I could find no place to enter the <br /><br /> command since there is no mention of these logo's. Can anyone help me?
