Multiple search dropdowns

Is there a way to get multiple search dropdown menus?

For example, using flooring options:

A dropdown menu for the product type. ( Hardwood, Carpet, Tile, etc.)

Then a dropdown menu for manufacturers. ( Dupont, Burlington, etc.)

Finally a dropdown menu for products or series. ( 2x5" tiles, or the actual product someone would be looking for.)

I checked some of the add-ons available and threads, but I couldn't see anything that actually works for a situation like this. Maybe I have missed something.

Any help on finding a way to do this?

I think that what you are describing is akin to the auto
select make, model, year situation

See if this 3rd party mod will assist and I believe it relies upon how your cats are arranged

I tried that add on, but couldn't get it to work. Looked in the forums and found some support, but many of the questions asked were unanswered.

After 3 days of going through the product finder mod. that kobra suggested, I think I finally understand it and I will probably use that.
