    Default tax error..

Hi! I've got an issue with my discount coupon.. it doesn't re-calculate the tax properly, but calculates the order total correctly..

    Include Shipping in calculation

    true

    Include Tax in calculation.

    true

    Re-Calculate Tax

    Standard

    And the sort order is:

    ot_coupon 1000

    ot_shipping 200
    ot_subtotal 100
    ot_surcharge 950
    ot_tax 800
    ot_total 999

This is rather nerve breaking.. does anyone have a clue?? :)

    Kind regards
    Jacob

    Hello!

Thank you for looking at this! Well if I don't set the coupon to "1000" (to be calculated in the last step) the order total isn't re-calculated with the discounted amount..

I really need the discount coupons to function properly. Do you know if there's anything I can try?

So, is this thread really a repeat of another thread you started? http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showthread.php?t=166511
Are there *more* threads you've started on this same issue?
I'm having trouble figuring out *exactly* what your problem is, because you've got all kinds of duplicate threads on various topics. You're making it very difficult for us to help you.

I'll try to limit the threads :) This is an old problem I had with 'discount coupons' which you managed to help me with (and I'm very grateful for that).

It seems the problem's re-emerged and I cannot see why.. the issue is that the Tax isn't re-calculated and I was thinking it could have something to do with my host upgrading to php 5.3?? But I find that a little strange since I've recently installed v.1.39f.

    Thanks!

    Regards
    Jacob

Help me recreate your exact problem, starting from a brand new clean uncustomized install. Keep in mind that I've got no taxes or shipping or coupons or discounts or products set up. What steps must I take to recreate your exact situation?

I did a fresh install as you said (because you're always right..). No add-ons installed no mods either, just parts of the old database.

The settings of the 'order total' module on fresh install are:

    Discount Coupon150
    Shipping 200
    Sub-Total 100
    Tax 800
    Total 999

The settings of Discount Coupon are:

    Include Shipping
    false
    Include Tax
    false
    Re-calculate Tax
    Standard
    Tax Class
    Moms (25%)

    This is what comes up:

    Qty. Item Name Total
    1 x HECO The Statment 34.900 kr

    Sub-Total: 34.900 kr
    Discount Coupon: 4c9330a30f :-3.490 kr
FREE SHIPPING! (Free Shipping Only): 0 kr
    Moms (25%): 6.398 kr
    Total: 31.410 kr

The coupon is set to discount the sub-total by 10% (3.490kr).
Discount Coupon amount -3.490 kr is correct.
    Free shipping is correct.
    Moms (TAX) is supposed to be 0.2 x 31.410 = 6.282 kr.
Tax is calculated somewhat like: 0.20369 x 31.410 = 6.397.9 (if it would calculate 0.2 with no extra decimals that would do the trick).
    Total 31.410 kr is correct.

However when I set a fixed discount coupon amount like 3.490 kr, tax and all else calculates perfectly (the trouble seems to be with percentage discounts..) I guess this is not supported at the time?

    Kind regards
    Jacob
