International Shipping

I'm trying to set up shipping charges for foreign countries (I live in US). I'm using the per item shipping mod for domestic US shipments. How do I set up international shipments? Thank you!

That depends on how you want to charge for International shipping ... per Item? by Price? by weight?

You really need to be more specific ...

There would be a single rate for the first item purchased and then $1.00 for each additional item. That single rate would vary based on what it costs to ship to a certain country. To make this same set-up work for domestic shipment we made shipping $1.00 and handling $2.50 per order. That allows the $1.00 for each additional product to be charged. Thanks.

You could clone the Item Rate item shipping module and build separate Zones for each one needed ...

I'll check it out, but won't that list all the international options for every customer and every order?

United States $3.50
Canada $5.00
Australia $9.00
Great Britain $9.00
Norway $9.00
etc., etc., etc.

That might appear a bit overwhelming to the customer. I want the process to be as smooth and "normal" as any other website's checkout process.

If you were to build Zone Definitions for each shipping module then only the 1 shipping module will show based on the shipping address ...
