it turned out to be a corrupt file in the advanced search header_php.php file in pages - which is odd because I do not recall ever using that file

I hate when that happens....
During FTP a file can be corrupted....a good FTP client will flag the error...but it is easy to over look

BTW: Why are you here?? Get your turkey!!!
