Odd Email Question - Customizing

I have managed to get a shopping cart, accounting program that sits on my server and integrates with ZC, an SEO Panel/Tools that also sits on my server and integrates with ZC, a year of hosting, and my domain name registered for a year and so far it has cost me exactly $1.

Where could you approach that for a brick & mortar shop?

I hope that you are not believing that one just puts up a cart and the money comes rolling in....

To have a successful online shop takes as much if not more effort than a brick & mortar shop....One must be SERIOUS about being successful versus a partime sideline

Well that certainly explains the 18 hour days lol

Seriously though I had actually built an online store about 7 or 8 years ago and it did ok, but then I got a different job that required so much of my time that I ended up shutting it down. This time around I am in it for the long haul. The job market in my area is so bad that even with a BA in Business and 20 years of mgmt experience and I am flipping burgers part-time. This wont make me rich this week, or probably next month but who knows after that lol.

You might also setup one with a narrower target as your current one seems like a shotgun approach
Natural ranking will be difficult to long coming as you are covering such a wide array of categories

I am toying with that idea a bit, I just know how much of my time this one site is taking up, not sure if I have it in me for 2, 3 or more sites right now. Haven't ruled it out by any means still weighing the pros and cons.

I think right now I am more focused on getting all the bugs worked out of this one then maybe copying the set-up over into "other areas"
